Jurnal Pengolahan Hasil Perikanan Indonesia (JPHPI), formerly known as Buletin Teknologi Hasil Perikanan, was established in 1996 at the Department of Aquatic Product Technology. Since 2010, the publication of JPHPI has been jointly managed by the Department of Aquatic Product Technology and Masyarakat Pengolahan Hasil Perikanan Indonesian (MPHPI). 

JPHPI publishes articles three times a year within the scope of biochemical aspects of fisheries, biotechnology of fisheries, food processing, characteristics of raw materials, and quality of aquatic products. Since Volume 24 Number 1 (2021), each number publishes 15 articles.

JPHPI is accredited by the Ministry of Research and Technology under the Decree Number 85/M/KPT/2020. JPHPI  has been indexed in DOAJ, Science and Technology Index (SINTA), Garuda, and Google Scholar.
