Publication Ethics Statement

Ethics Publication

Jurnal Komunikasi Pembangunan is committed to holding the integrity of the academic track record. We strongly encourage writers to study the International Standards for Authors and Publication Ethics published by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Jurnal Komunikasi Pembangunan takes infringement seriously, copyright, plagiarism, or other violations in publications. We strive to protect the rights of authors and we always investigate claims of plagiarism or abuse of published articles. We also work to protect the journal's reputation from malpractice. Every article sent will be checked with plagiarism checking software. If an article is found to have plagiarized another work or entered third party copyright material without permission or with inadequate recognition, or where the authorship of the article is contested, we reserve the right to take action including, but not limited to: publishing corrections; revoke the article; resolve this issue with the head of the department or dean of the relevant author institution and/or academic body or community, or take appropriate legal action.

Approval of Publication from the Author
Before the article is published, Jurnal Komunikasi Pembangunan requires the signature of the author as the rights holder of his article in the copyright letter. The Copyright Letter is an exclusive license stating that the author gets the copyright for the article but gives the publisher a single right and exclusive license to publish the article legally. In the copy-editing and proofreading process, the editor will make changes to the text without changing the meaning if there is a grammatical error, spelling, or ineffectiveness of the sentence. Prior to the publication of the article, the results of the copy-editing and proofreading will be provided to the author for approval.
